[edgtf_dropcaps type="normal" color="" background_color=""]I[/edgtf_dropcaps] listen to podcasts and radio shows of experts and professionals talking about how they got to where they are and what helped them become the successes that they are now. I love learning the stories of the sacrifices they made and advice they can give others. From all of these hours and hours of listening to all these shows, several pieces of advice have resonated with me. We’re all on our own journeys and we’re all at different points in that journey. We’ve chosen paths meant for us. This year, I have decided to try to send more mail to friends and strangers around the world. Which evolved into sending a letter a week in a 52 letters mail challenge. It is no secret that I love traditional hand written letters. There is nothing quite like getting a brightly coloured envelope in your mailbox from a loved one or friend. And when you open and read their handwriting it feels like you have just sat down and had a long friendly chat. In such a busy and digital world, we often feel alone and miss the personal connections with other humans.

I challenged myself to send more mail in 2017. So I have been preparing colourful and inspiring decorated happy snail mail envelopes that are ready to send in the mail. I use colourful paper to make envelopes. or use existing envelope designs I love and then add matching washi tape. When I am ready to send out some mail, they only need a stamp and an address.
