It is a mail challenge to write a letter a day during April each year, National Letterwriting Month. The Write_On campaign's mission: Write_On is a mission driven campaign to promote joy, creativity, expression, and connection through hand-written correspondence. This aligns with my own goals to write more mail, connect with new people and help spread joy. I love the challenge and always find new people to follow on social media and discover new people who inspire and motivate me to keep on writing

I recently joined the Pretty Postal tropical snail mail swap and decided to make snail mail envelopes from colourful tropical scrapbook papers. It is an easy and fun project for the beginner to intermediate crafter. I was able to make six in about an hour's time so this can be an afternoon craft. You can further decorate the envelopes as you'd like with doodles or drawings, labels, stickers and washi tape. I started with square 12 inch by 12 inch pieces of scrapbook paper.
